Added 2020-10-28 10:00:47 +0000 UTCI'm really excited to announce the re-release of Episode 9 of Fall of Civilizations, now with a video accompaniment. This has been an absolutely huge labour, resulting in two feature-length documentaries chronicling the rise and the fall of the Aztec Triple Alliance.
Subscribers from around the world have chipped in to help make this possible, allowing me to include state of the art CGI recreations of the city of Tenochtitlan, created by the Mexican archaeological reconstructionists ADVEstudio, and to strike a deal with Getty Images for use of reenactments and some truly staggering footage that I hope you all enjoy. I want to thank all of my subscribers for sticking with the show through these tough times, and I really hope you enjoy these videos. My focus for the near future is on releasing new podcast episodes for those of you who have been eagerly awaiting them. I hope to take you guys back to the deserts of Iraq soon, and up into the cloud forests of the Andes.
