Another poll! Do you prefer COMPLETE playthroughs or MORE playthroughs?

I know we just did a poll yesterday, but I'm curious of your opinion!

Historically, we've favored doing complete playthroughs on PlayFrame, sticking with a game until we manage to hit the end credits. We don't finish EVERY game we start, obviously, and some playthroughs get put on hiatus from time to time, but we finish these games more often than not.

However, one downside to this approach is that we are able to feature far fewer games on the channel per year. We're rarely able to make time for new releases, or to just try out interesting indie titles.

Just as an example, 2022 has already seen a plethora of interesting games, including:

...none of which have appeared on the channel. I'm certain we'll get to one or two of these eventually, but our "complete most games we start" approach leaves room for very few of them. And the backlog of games we mean to get to "someday" is already very long.

So one possibility is that we could try to shift toward favoring MORE games on the channel, moving from game to game basically whenever I'm feeling ready to move on. We'd still commit to completing a LOT of games of course (I can't imagine not finishing a FromSoft or Kingdom Hearts game, for example), but we'd be more free to change things up and try new releases folks may be really excited about.

But then again, complete playthroughs are satisfying! And it can be super frustrating to see a playthrough you're excited about just get dropped, so there's lots of genuine benefits to the current approach.

I ask you: which do you think you'd prefer? Would you like to see more games make an appearance on the channel, knowing that there's an increased likelihood that those games won't be finished? Or do you prefer seeing playthroughs completed, even if it leaves room for fewer games overall?

These are both 100% valid options, and I'd love to know what our regulars (you) value most, so let me know!

UPDATE: Thanks for the votes and all this feedback, everyone! It's very helpful info to have!

I consume playthroughs basically as follows: If it's a game I find interesting, but do not intend to play (say, Dark Souls or Nier; too much work for me), I get to enjoy a nice edited version of the experience with pleasant conversation on top, which typically lets me enjoy the good bits without the bits that led me to avoid the game. If it's a game I'm on the fence on, the first episode or two may cause me to buy and play the game, after which I'll track the playthrough down to catch up and see how the experience differed. If it's a game I'm going to play, have played, or am playing, I'll generally just make sure that I'm ahead of any video I'm watching. For example, I played through Hades ages ago, but I still watched the videos later. I will say that mystery-oriented games make things more difficult to watch "safely" compared to gameplay-oriented games with a story element, since one loses a lot of play motive after the story is revealed.

I prefer the full playthrus, but I also love watching you play smaller, shorter indie games. I'd be satisfied with limited plays of AAA games (unless you really wanted a deep dive into story like with FromSoft, Kingdom Hearts, Nier) leaving room for full playthrus of more obscure titles that otherwise might not get the exposure.
