I have a question: Do you have any tips for corn snake owners who use aspen fibers to prevent the snake from ingesting any fibers when feeding? For the record, I just got a new baby corn snake. I thawed out the pinky in water, but I dried it using a paper towel precisely because I didnโ€™t want aspen fibers to stick to it if it was wet. But as you know, everyone has an opinion, and there is a risk of impacted digestive systems if the fibers ever get in there. Any additional pro tips you could share with me? I also want to thank you for your videos. They helped me decided to get my hypo corn snake, which I have named Mictlan.

Hey Clint! Have you ever played DnD? What kind of character would you be? My boyfriend guessed you'd be a dragonborn ranger! Love you and all of your videos, you're the best!

What are the behavioral and other differmeces between different tegu subspecies? (Chacoan, agrgentine, colombian, blue, red etc.)

I want to start doing more educational stuff, I had a date lined up at my daughterโ€™s pre-school but it got canceled due to COVID-19. Whatโ€™s a good way to approach the subject at her new school when it starts back?

Hey Clint! After watching your last video about seeing the kids killing the garter snakes, I had a question. What is your opinion on hunting? Obviously most hunters aren't motivated to kill animals for the same reason those kids were, but I thought it would be interesting to hear your perspective considering your professional and educational background. Thanks for the awesome content!

Hello Clint, what is your favorite ball python morph (specifically under $500 as well as in general)? Also, can you go over the difference between black eyed leucism and blue eyed leucism (other than the obvious difference in their eyes)?

Some time ago, we adopted a 13-month old corn snake. It had been fed very sparingly by the previous owner, and it weighed only about 50 grams when we got it. We immediately put it on a more normal feeding regimen, and now, about 20 months later, it weighs well over 400 grams and is about 44 inches long. A year or so ago, someone said that it had a small head for its body size. I have heard that this can be a result of underfeeding and/or genetics. Which do you think is the more likely cause for a small-headed corn snake, or could it be both? I suspect underfeeding in this case, as the snakeโ€™s head seems to be catching up with the body, but would love your input. Thank you Clint, and keep up the great work!

Hello Clint, Bit of a long lead up to this question, so apologize but I think it needs the framing to make sense. A lot of people talk about having a "connection" with there pets that they feel is a mutual emotional bond. After watching your video with Kevin McCurley I'm aware that there is the concern in the reptile keeping hobby of people imposing "mammalian" or "anthropomorphic" thoughts onto their reptiles. With all that in mind, I want to ask two interconnect questions: Firstly in your experience as a reptile keeper have you ever felt a "special connection" with any of your reptiles? I don't necessarily mean an emotive connection (though if you have I'm curious about that too) but a sort of mutual engagement of intelligent interaction? Secondly, I know you've spoken about reptile intelligence in general a little bit on previous videos with a slight focus on large lizards e.g. monitors. I'm specifically interested in your thoughts/experiences when it comes to the "more intelligent" species of snake. My interest here is if any of the reptiles you mention in regards to the first part of my question also fall into the second part. Thanks again for sticking with this long question!

I am having a hard time finding a good substrate mix for my monitor (Varanus Primordias). They live in same climate/location as the Ackie monitors. What would you recommend?

Could you do an episode about target training a VERY food motivated tegu? My Red Argentine Tegu Tonks will run at her target, even leap into the air to get it, but she will also try to bite looking for food from me when she hasn't been shown a target. (she is in good condition with a nice fat tail) She will even try to bite the toes of my shoes to see if it is etable.

Hey Clint! Is it common for male snakes to go off food during the spring? We have a juvenile rat snake who has become very active, will not eat, and has been prowling around his enclosure. I think he's looking for a lady.

Hi Clint! I am working on an enclosure setup for a Tegu, and I can't wait to get my dream reptile. Are there any certain breeders you recommend?
