Loved your debate video and the bonus video this week! Would love to see a longer debate where you guys debate more reptile related topics and give us your actual view on them afterwards. On a side note I was wondering how many hours a week would you say is taken up by taking care of your reptile collection? As always keep doing what you're doing!

Hello there. Earlier today I heard an NPR report saying that Argentine tegus are becoming an increasingly problematic invasive species in the southeastern US. In light of that report , what are some things everyday people can do to limit the spread of invasive species in their area, and prevent the introduction of new non-native species to an environment?

Could you please do a video on target training a Tegu? I tried with my adult Tegu. She has destroyed 2 targets. She doesn't touch her target, she bites it. She will run across the room and leap in the air to grab her target. (Tegus are pretty good jumpers.) I would like to try again with my baby Tegu and I'm sure my outcome with Tonks isn't ideal.

Hello my friends! Have you ever had to run or get away from an animal?

Lately I've seen pictures and videos of people feeding boiled or scrambled eggs to their hognose snake as a treat or as an attempt to get them eating again. But I've also seen some people claim that feeding anything cooked to a reptile should always be considered a bad idea, since--they assert--reptiles aren't adapted to digesting cooked meals. Is this just bad reasoning, given that humans didn't "adapt" for cooked foods either (not to be confused with the adaptations we made BECAUSE we began cooking food)? Or is there something to it?

Hello Clint, I was curious about your expanded thoughts on reptile intelligence. It seems that as time goes on and more studies are done into animal cognition we are coming to recognise that reptiles aren't the "slow witted base vertebrates" that they've been labelled as for over a century. From your video with Garret you mention that we in the herp hobby have a thing about thinking certain animals are smarter then others. You raise the interesting point that it might be less about these animals actual intelligence and more about how gain and process information in a way that is closer to our own e.g. visually focused rather then scent focused. Given all the above, what would be a few reptiles that you think are "smarter" then other examples in their type e.g. a lizard, a crocodilian, a snake?
