I've been seeing a few things lately that say it is harder for a female snake to pass slugs than fertilized eggs, and they are more likely to have problems if you don't breed them even if the female is smaller than ideal size. Is breeding the only option or is there another way to help female snakes with eggs?

2021-02-19 02:14:09 +0000 UTCSadly the effects are likely the direct opposite that the mild winters are having on the Ohio mosquito population. Without a deep freeze the larvae manage to live through the miserable winter and ruin springtime with diseased itchy stinging.

What kind of an effect can unusual weather phenomena like this blizzard have on native reptile populations, and how long do they take to recover from such an event? It feels like reptiles would be hit especially hard by something like this but I don't know for certain.
