Hey guys! Jason here. This was another one that we wanted to film and turn around as an upload pretty fast - so I am sorry this was posted so late. Also, it will likely need to be scheduled, so YouTube needs to set it to "Private" sorry about that. Hopefully you will get a chance to watch it before it goes public. We love our Patrons! No Patreon Extras for this one.
With my trio of Eastern garters the target training made a world of difference but it is still a bit crazy with 3 at a time lol.

My coast garters are some of the most gentle snakes I have, except when it comes to feeding, then all bets are off. I've just started target training them to see if we can make feeding day a little less 'exciting'. Lori Torinni has some amazing videos on target training snakes. She's been a big help.

I was very surprised at how quickly my tegu picked up target training when she was a little. By day 3 she had it down.... it took a lot longer to get her to stop trying to 'kill' the target though, but she got there... mostly.

So helpful. Animals have intelligence and it is so nice to learn how to communicate with them. I have well behaved dogs. and 2 sweet as can be corn snakes.

Sorry about that, this one unfortunately needed to be scheduled - which requires setting it to private.

I love this video. My juvenile tegu has been trying to rip my face off since I got her.

Target training was a game changer for me. All of my snakes have some level of target training. Even the silly Garter Snakes. Awesome to know you use it also.
