2021-09-15 20:00:32 +0000 UTCWhen talking about birds, a lot of captive birds are different species of parrots, and they should generally not just get seeds as food (though high quality seeds appropriate for the specific bird is a good base for their diet). They can also be sensitive for the amount of food and easily get overweight (especially if they don't have the space they need). Whilst it might not be objectinable for most birds, it isn't necessarily easy.
