How would you simplify this so the average person understands the issues? I wouldn't know where to begin if I wrote my legislators. Thank you.

I believe that research, contacting one’s senators, contributing to USARK, and spreading the word are some of the best things we can do. What else do you suggest?

If that happens, would you consider trading turtles with someone like Kenan, who could give him a great life, and you could have a more manageable size tortoise for the reptile room?

There are already so many places with clauses in their lease blanket-banning reptiles (even I've had to get special permission in my apartment complex). I've been hoping to be an advocate to help this fact change in my area and hopefully beyond. How would you recommend going about doing that?
