On the topic of the moon landing, there are many reasons we know it definitely happened, but my favorite reason is that we didn't have the vfx technology at the time to fake it. There's an excellent video on the youtube channel VideoFromSpace that talks about the moon landing from the perspective of a film maker and goes into detail about why we didn't have the technology in 1969 to fake what was broadcast on tv. It's counterintuitive that we had the technology to actually put a man on the moon before we had the technology to fake it on tv, until you think about how much more money had gone into aerospace research compared to the film industry. There's a lot of money in Hollywood but it isn't the military industrial complex.

I think our world is amazing, and the more I learn about it, the more amazing it seems. When I look around at all of my fellow organisms who have made it through to exist now, it is like a fantastic dream. If there is a God, I think that denying what we can learn through evidence is an insult to any creator. The real evidence is miracle enough for me. And of course, there are dogs. Which is one of the most fantastic relationships that beggars belief. Yet all of it is true.

You have a deeply flawed view of people of faith. Those you see in these types of videos are simply those that reach large numbers of people because of the things they say, they are not the norm for religious peoples

I am liking Clint taking this little leap onto the Bible/Theology turf. As a Christian pastor finishing a PhD in Rhetoric & Communication Ethics with the focus of my dissertation on dialogic praxis, I'm suspect this is exactly the next step needed to continue the ongoing conversation he is engaging (as a dialogic pedagogue/mediator of sorts) between YEC and atheistic understandings of evolution. Kudos.
