However, instead of making a better attempt to put the people of Cabrini Green in a better spotlight unlike Candyman 1992, Candyman 2021 decides to use Cabrini Green’s gentrification as a device in order to focus on the racial violence and racial injustice that’s regularly shared among African Americans, and the generational trauma we all suffer from us constantly reliving it.
