Hey Luke, sorry I didn't get to this - the conversation flew by so there wasn't much room to get into more detailed topics like this. That makes sense to be on the lookout for "errors," At the same time I would think a lot of attention is driven towards tools that facilitate goal directed behavior. I'd have to read more about this - it looks interesting. Any links to literature on this you recommend?

Actually seems like there's some difficulty with getting the big file over to me as the internet at the place Jordan recorded is pretty slow

I assume the interview has already happened, but to sum it up, I hoped you asked Jordan Peterson about the neurological structures and processes involved in his theory. I feel like Hawkins' work does a good job explaining the neocortex itself, but Peterson's work comes into play in the signals between the dorsal anterior cingulate cortex (dACC) and the neocortex or perhaps between the amygdala and the neocortex. That's my guess anyway. Would like to hear what the author thinks.
