I'd like to hear a discussion about how cars are used to represent peoples identities. They feel the car they drive represents who they are - the shape/form, the brand, the colour, the extras and then they may add personal details like stickers or something dangling from the mirror. Music may blare from the stereo, elbow on the window and it's a personalised display of "who I am".

2019-02-09 09:40:29 +0000 UTCWould love to hear about a city that is getting micromobility right -- I hear about Santa Monica as a place that has figured it out. In ATL we are awash in scooters everywhere and they are really a nuisance to pedestrians because they are on the sidewalks (because there are limited safe places to ride them). It would be interesting to know if there are any actual examples of these companies supporting infrastructure for them. I know Atl bike coalition is partnering with Lyft.
