Black Lives Matter
Added 2020-06-09 23:43:20 +0000 UTCDear supporters,
The fundamental question of our podcast has always been “Who are streets for?” This question cannot be separated from the legacy of racism, police violence, white supremacy and other systems of oppression. Streets can never be truly open and safe until they are open and safe for everyone.
We will have new episodes soon, but owe it to you, our supporters, and to ourselves, to recognize this seismic moment in American history and to use it as an opportunity to rethink our place in the national discourse about cities, streets and transportation. We understand that business as usual is not acceptable and are in deep conversation about how this will affect our work going forward.
As three white people, we have a responsibility to hold ourselves accountable for the change we claim to stand for and approach these subjects with thoughtfulness. We stand with Black and Brown people and the many protesters across the country and around the world who have taken to the streets over the past week in pursuit of justice, liberation and to declare that Black Lives Matter.
With much appreciation,
Aaron, Doug and Sarah

Hi! Sorry for the delay. We have two interviews completed right now and are in the process of editing both of them. We'll likely release the next one late this week or early next and then another shortly after that. We appreciate your patience!
