Jeremy, thanks for your thoughts. We really do appreciate them. Just wanted to add on to the discussion to say that we have had sponsors before (Spin Scooters, TransitCenter's podcast, etc.) but none that have offered a discount or benefit to listeners, which is why we sent this offer out via Patreon. We'll take all of this into consideration in the future and might instead move something like this to a newsletter, which would be free for Patreon supporters, but opt-in. Hope that all makes sense. We really appreciate everyone's support.

I kind of agree with Trond. It was a little off-putting to get a notification and email for an ad. I get that the ad is in alignment, and am gratefully you don't have mattress ads, but to get it in my email seemed off. If it was just on the show is one thing, but sending it out otherwise is something else. (And I did visit the cleverhood site after just hearing the ad, so it worked there for me.)

I disagree with Trond bc you dont send me junk. This product offering is directly aligned with your core values, safety, comfort, and the right to move about NYC and all cities and towns without a car.
