Our First Meetup

We had attendees from all corners of New York, including the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn as well as listeners who came in from Connecticut and New Jersey. Special shoutout to listener Perry who came all the way from Raleigh, NC to hang out with us!
In true War on Cars fashion, we took over the median on Vanderbilt Avenue in Brooklyn, enjoyed the open street and got a chance to talk with listeners. We were even graced by former podcast guests and friends of The War on Cars Shabazz Stuart (Episode 34) and Aaron Gordon (Episode 63) as well as our editor, Ali Lemer.
We'll hopefully do this again and, should our travels allow, host events in other cities. In the meantime, if you're interested in organizing a War on Cars meetup where you live so you can get fellow listeners together to socialize and figure out how to reclaim streets for people, please send us an email. We'd love to help you make something happen.
