Big news! Our guest for our upcoming live show on Tuesday November 2nd is Choire Sicha, editor at large at New York Magazine. It's sure to be a fun evening as we talk about the state of cycling and transportation in the city and Choire's self-proclaimed "bike fascism." Oh, and it's also election night, so be prepared for live returns as we anxiously await the outcome of this hotly contested race. [Eric Adams is the odds-on favorite to become the next mayor of New York and the election is unlikely to be even remotely close. - Ed.]
Before joining New York Magazine, Choire was the editor for the Styles desk of The New York Times, which covered social and generational change and power, something that has a lot in common with The War on Cars. Choire's work in the New York City media world includes time at Vox Media as well as notable stints as the editor of the New York Observer and Gawker.
A reminder: Listeners of The War on Cars can receive $3 off tickets with code PATREON. If you can't join us in person, livestream tickets are also available.
See you there!
