We want your questions and comments!

Last call for submissions!
We're putting together a new mailbag episode tomorrow and are hoping to include your questions and comments. We've already got some great ones but could always use a few more!
We're especially interested in hearing about successes in The War on Cars, so if there's something great in your town or city that's happened because of incredible advocates, fearless elected officials or some combination of both, we'd love to learn about it and share it with listeners. Funny stories or nice interactions you've had while out and about are also great!
If you have something you'd like to ask or just want to rant for a bit, send a thirty-second voice memo to thewaroncars /at/ gmail /dot/ com and we'll hopefully be able to include it on the episode.
Thanks!
Aaron, Sarah and Doug

Not a journalist but from a lot of reading about media I would guess that "the passive voice was used" training all occurs on the job, where editors in ad-supported publications take out the active voice that the journos submit and render it safe for ad-supported media. There are a few national papers that don't rely so much on auto-industry advertising, but most regional and all local papers are slavishly devoted to wishes of car makers and dealers.
