Hello, Patreon supporters!

For this bonus episode of the podcast, we are finally releasing our live show, recorded way back in November 2022 at Caveat on Manhattan's Lower East Side. It was a really fun night with a sold-out crowd of 120 friends and fans of the podcast. We loved seeing everyone and were grateful to Caveat for inviting us.

Our live show was styled after a New York City Community Board meeting — except instead of people screaming about parking spaces, bike lanes and neighborhood character or telling people to go back to where they came from, a fantastic time was had by all, with brilliant people getting up to ask smart questions and share stories of their own hard-fought advocacy efforts. We think you'll really enjoy what your fellow listeners brought to this show. (Personally, I loved the question about whether or not it's okay to encourage kids to play with toy cars. As someone who still has his old Matchbox cars, let's just say... it's complicated. Let us know what you think.)

We'll be back with a new regular episode next week and are heading back into the studio soon to record a bunch of episodes.
