For the fifth year (I think, I actually have no idea of how many we've done), we're going to be bringing the annual live show to the London Podcast Festival in King's Cross. It's happening on Saturday 16th September at 4.30pm, followed a bit later on with a quiz (with ACE prizes) and then we can all go to the pub across the road!
As per a THRILLING Twitter vote (which split 60/40), we're going to be covering the WWF UK PPV One Night Only 1997, and we're building up to it on the pod over the weeks ahead. I
It's a classic from Birmingham's NEC, with the single greatest moment of Shawn Michaels being an utter shit EVER, the Bulldog's triumphant return*, a Bret Hart-Undertaker classic that the WWE decided to make non-canon and left off the US video release to Hart's fury, and cameos from flipping Tiger Jeet Singh and - swoon - Rick Rude!
Plus, no one mentions this but I've just looked at the photo below and I think it might be Paige's dad dressed up as a Beefeater. It is! It only flipping is!

I don't really care for your content. I find it both reductive and over indulging simultaneously. I do not like your haircut. I've subscribed to your Patreon as a troll. Don't you feel silly now. I still don't know if Gorilla was able to explain the concept of the ladder match to Lord Alfred. It is likely they are both in heaven and Gorilla is still trying to explain that match to Lord Alfred. I blame you. Not because you pointed it out and created a hilarious little conversation about it, but because you two are British and I'm a Texan American, Yeehaw! And I still blame you for that dock incident with the tax hike on the teabags. I heard somewhere that it wasn't necessarily tea but that's not why I'm mad at you. And I'm out of nonsense. Sorry boys.
