Here's the 1980s Hippodrome promotional video. The lion that pulls the trainer over and then runs off the stage is there at the 2 minute mark, like it's absolutely a normal thing to happen in the middle of a packed London nightclub at 8.25pm at night.

2024-03-30 05:42:15 +0000 UTCI have fond memories of this show because it took me from being an occasional "watch it if it's on" viewer to a watch every week fan (that and the occasional WWF episode. One thing I remember as well was after this match Kendo had an impromptu match with Jimmy Greaves that they showed on the Saint and Greavise show earlier in the day.
