I booked tickets for Moulin Rouge this Friday as well. So now she gets treated to 'a world of splendour and romance, of eye-popping excess, of glitz, grandeur, and glory! A world where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows and revel in electrifying enchantment'... plus she gets to go to a musical as well. I've a beer festival in Dublin on the 14th and the last few years they had the catch the hook game along with other old timey games such as shuffleboard and knock the skittles over with a ball on a fixed string. Sorta hoping this year they have ye olde big hoop and a stick.
