So good, they named it badly: BIG EVENT 1986 Part 1!

Like a fever dream that's really poorly shot.

Think I watch the UWF/Herbie Darkside episode every 3 months, it never fails to blow my mind. Can you imagine what didn't the make cut πŸ˜‚

sydneyxraven

Do you keep saying… β€œThe MeLendez Brothers” ?? 🧐😜

Aaron Dilloway

There are twins on the indies and sometimes on AEW and the gimmick is they do it as a singles match then secretly swap under the ring so the ref doesn’t realise two of them are at the ring

Ross Pollard

At 13:11 Pete sounds like he’s reading a transcript of Lord Alfred Hayes.

The Ghost of Mick

I decided against the WWE Dublin house show myself as it's on a Sunday, bit pricey for a house show & layout of 3 Arena bit strange for wrestling

Damien

as we say in the American protest community, ABAB!* *All Bees Are Bastards

Orn Pauldorf

My guess for autobiography was to bee or not to bee

Naomi Randall

He burnt his arse on a motorbike once, as well!

Joe Maddox

Hahaha

M Haynes

AH. I also read something yesterday that said Jim Brunzell was known as "the Walking Pharmacy" in the 1980s. WHY, BEES? WHY? (at least we know the B. in B.Brian Blair now stands for 'bastard'

M Haynes

guys, I've got some b. bad news... B. Brian Blair has run for office, in Florida as was mentioned, but he ran on a platform of homophobia and scaling back environmental protections for Florida's wetlands!

Orn Pauldorf

Pete saying "awwwww I'd like to be friends with him" and then instantly asking "Would I like to be friends with him?" was a perfect microcosm of the Wrestle Me experience.

nick morris

Actually, after hearing this and watching some of the show, I can believe it.

Lance B

Wow, this event took place on my first birthday. I can't believe I've never heard of it before.

Lance B

My guess for the Autobiography was "bee me"

Neil Pyle

Actually you say about old guys mixing with the newer talents I found this on YouTube the first Clash of Champions which was Turners first non ppv event and it's a pretty good event and you can see how Turner wasn't doing Nitro numbers but an alternative to WWF in 1988 was really a lull period with a over long Wrestlemania and a lacklustre Summer Slam you have this as an alternative you don't have to pay for, much like when I was first watching wrestling on TVS with NWA Main Event it was a alternative to some of the cringe on WWF. https://youtu.be/4cvyBtmmvYs?si=y1xeU9UcVR9SKe9Z

The Thinking Cat...Former Cthulhu Pofit Neo Normie and Masked fat guy but now a Cat ??

Old man brain issues Ian!

M Haynes

How did you get through unconvincing switcheroo shenanigans without mentioning Bellas Twin Magic?

Ian Davison

Loved the Killer Bees, they did mask confusion when they did a 6-man match with JYD

Kris Davies

Oh and Blair claims to have beaten Doug Somers nearly half to death. Blair is another one of those wrestlers who claims to be the hardest man on the planet. His autobiography is a fun read!

Joe Maddox

Brian Blair’s β€˜B’ comes from his childhood nickname β€˜Beeper.’ I’d much prefer to hear β€˜Beeper’ Brian Blair

Joe Maddox

After what was on yesterday's ramble I am disappointed Pete didn't accidentally drop the show a day eay. Worth the wait as always
