Legit cannot remember how it came into my life but it was definitely in the late 1980s - maybe a MAD magazine reference? I cannot work out why it would be something that was a thing in Hatch End in 1989

I’d never heard of Tom of Finland before Marc mentioned it on WrestleMe several years ago. I’ve still never heard anyone except Marc talk about it. Yet I feel like it looms large in my life. Just spent three weeks catching up about five months’ worth of pods and can finally comment to say I’m up to date. So much love and thanks to both of you.

I'm glad I saved this show until today, as the news that Netflix are going forward with select programming has confirmed my worst fears. Everyone with a DVD or VHS worth anything needs to do their bit to preserve the WWE history sordid or otherwise

I'll tell you how the rock hard Budda belly happens and it is from drinking a LOT of alcohol, specifically beer. I only know this because my uncle had the same thing and the family were all quite confused as to how that happens.

Toudokan is now my go to match place online as it’s very reasonable shipping to other Asian countries, and the customer service is fantastic

The moment Pete uttered the words “he looks like” I just knew the final fight reference was coming

I have a distinct memory watching a WWF PPV that featured Jerry Lawler in his weird singlet thing. My dad walked into my room and watched for a few seconds and just said 'He's an odd looking bloke' before walking off. It really stuck with me for some reason and today's episode brought it all back

Bruce Callander

This is true, forgot this incredible fact!

The purchase of a second 3D printer has distant echoes of the time when Pete bought 2 harpsichords.

I'm just back from a month in Japan, and while I'm nowhere near the merch fiend Marc is, Toudoukan is overwhelming. There's a reason I leave it to the last day.

Thunder, was famous Boxer Arturo Gatti's walk in music, who died in "mysterious circunstances", possibly/aledgedy at his wife's hand... very wrestlery

Mark Baker

Considering you did a bit about a meth superhero and a Gotham Dan Severn, I'm very surprised you missed the open goal of talking about Chyna portraying she-hulk

Neil Pyle

Young me absolutely adored D'Lo Brown. I would've given him every single belt, had him break the streak, reveal him as the anonymous Raw GM. Everything. Mark Henry turning on him at SummerSlam was my Austin joining forces with McMahon.

Harry French

I love that Marc thinks a marvel film would start with one of its heroes doing in a Meth head like it’s a late 80s bbc miniseries

Space Basket

Aren't ACDC the only band Vince has heard of?

I'm a qualified moving and handling trainer (for another 3 weeks), and I can tell you that 80% of adults experience back pain at some point in their lives 👍🏻

This guy Shamrocks!

Groverian

Ah The Trooper, first record I ever bought. Second was… er… the Chicken Song

Kris Davies

Recent subscriber finally up to date with you guys. Great stuff. I'm just wondering when you talk about Ken Shamrock you skip over his time as Wayne Shamrock when he started out as a pro wrestler. He did shoot style in the uwf and fujiwara gomi before going with Minoru Suzuki and Masakatsu Funaki into pancrase a year or so before UFC 1. Are you aware of this section of his career? It's a quite interesting part of his story and pancrase is a much better representation of his legit fighting abilities.
