hiiii omg I’m incredibly excited to share this with you all 🤩 I ~finally~ have a mattress to sleep on at my new house!! That was the last big thing I needed to actually live here comfortably and now I’ve got it 🥹 thank you so so much to the people who helped me out by crowdfunding for a new mattress on Throne, it means more than I can express. The one on there was out of stock and the others would have taken a week to ship, BUT I found one in my city and my bestie + her boyfriend helped me pick it up yesterday.

There’s a book I have for my kid called Hot Cocoa Calm, and as the forest animals learn to breathe deeply while drinking their hot chocolate, they learn that they feel calm after. One page says “Fox feels warm, cozy, and calm.” So often before we go to sleep I ask kiddo “do you feel safe, cozy, and calm?” And I realized last night that it’s exactly how I feel in my bed, in my own room. This is our little house, and it’s my life to live. I’m safe, cozy, and calm.
