(WIP) Spoilers for katsuyami ship week days 1 and 2

Katsuyami Week is happening on Tumblr starting on July 15th and it was a matter of honor I participated!! I probably won't have time to make art for all 8 days so I'm prioritizing the ones that gave me the most interesting ideas. So far I finished sketching day 1 and 2 and am 1/3 done with day 3.

So let's look at what I have for now!

Day 1 - birthdays / surprises / wishes

July 15th happens to be Deku's birthday, so I chose to illustrate Yami's birthday for it. It also matches with the current event on ask-protoheroes-- they're doing the dares for Yami's b-day!

The idea here is that since they were kids, Katsuki took pride in 1) showing up at his building and surprising Yami when he'd look out his window and 2) being the first one to wish him happy birthday at midnight. I'll add timestamps to make that point more clear, and some decent goddamn captions. I really hope you can read my handwriting.

Fun fact: the original idea was simply drawing them as tiny kids with a cake, BUT I NEED TO MAKE EVERYTHING INTO BADLY PANELED COMICS! THIS IS MY LIFE NOW!

Day 2 - mutual pining / crushes / miscommunication

This one features Yuuraraka and how she sees the nerds' relationship. Yuuraraka is all of us.

This was going to be more dramatic but due to not having much time thus recycling the panels... also the focus on Yuu... it ended up being more comedic. She's my underrated daughter and I actually ship her with both of them, so I really need more excuses to draw her!

So this is what I have to show for now! I will post WIPs of Day 3 - Mythology / Quests / Fantasy later. What I can tell you is I'm going feral on this one and it's my favorite so far.

I won't tell you guys the ideas I have for the remaining days since I don't know if I'll even make it - so I don't leave you hanging. I will tell you though one exception which is Day 6 - Angels / Demons / Mirrors because I love the idea I have for it too much, so I'm leaving this here as a way to push myself.
