(WIP) Spoilers for katsuyami ship week day 5

And day 5's theme is: angels/demons!

You can clearly see I had a lot more fun with the AUs than with the first two contributions. I'm still halfway through finishing Good Omens but when I saw this theme I just KNEW what I had to do. I mean, six fucking thousand years of slow burn? That's katsuyami.

At first I was gonna have Yami be the angel and Katsuki be the demon, but then thought their backgrounds would fit the opposite roles most. So we have Katsuki being a laid-back angel who's very fond of life on Earth and the mundane pleasures of humanity, and Yami being a demon who keeps to himself and does just enough to get his job done - and who still holds a grudge for his fall.

Katsuki's actually the one who came up with their coverage deals first - as in, sometimes they'll cover a job for each other. Angel does the tempting and demon does the miracling. They not so secretly enjoy it, and they more secretly enjoy each other's company. Katsuki will call him pet names like "fiend", "hot stuff" and "boogie" while Yami just calls him his name.

I also like to think Katsuki is some kind of social media celebrity/influencer (you'll see that's a recurring thing in any universes with him), and passes it for spreading good influence to his superiors - when it's actually just because he loves the attention. Yami on the other hand tries to get less attention from mortals, and more from stray cats he finds on the street.

At first I was gonna draw them wearing clothes more similar to how I hc their personal style-- but I decided to take the clear formal clothes/black leather motifs and give it their personal twists cause it's not everyday I'll draw Katsuki in a suit and Yami in tight ripped jeans and a leather jacket.
