OC ask: Hyatt's transition

A bit of ObliDream background on this one: Hyatt was adopted and grew up as the only child of a strict parental figure he calls grandpa - who on top of being a conservative religious leader, expected Hyatt to fulfill an important role in their cult designed to women only.
Hyatt's coming out as trans brought discordance and animosity at first - but after a couple arcs, many heated conflicts and a near-death experience, they're finally getting along. With the support of his friends and the acceptance of his family, he felt safe and confident enough to seriously consider his transition and bring it up to gramps, who's now making real effor to be supportive of Hyatt embracing himself.
Hyatt's character is so important to me in so many ways, and being a safe output for my own experiences with gender is one of the main ones - so I'm so happy for my boy's growth :'D I always had the headcanons for how his appearance changes over time and how he deals with everything, so I was the happiest that he had the chance to address it so early in-game. Let's wish him a good journey!!

ahh glad to know!! ;w; I'm always hesitant about the reception, but my presentation of him is as genuine and personal as it can get - so it's really reassuring that other people like him too. I'm looking forward to represent his growth slowly in my art too!! thanks for the support <3
