October SFW OC asks - Zephyr's hookups & more

Zephs doesn't elaborate much on his answers... but he'll give you attention if you know what to ask.

Also unofficially introducing Ray (they/he), an OC whose concept has been sitting on my drafts along with dozens of others. They're Zeph's co-worker at the cat cafe!

(Quick teaser that I've been meaning to draw proper references of more OCs so they can join the Patreon roster, so I'm looking at running polls to decide who I should draw and introduce first. Ray will be included!)

• In reference to this post. Their job is a plot point I want to reveal at the proper time, but you can get a glimpse of it in this earlier comic.
• Their favorite flavor is spicy! They have a high tolerance for strong flavors in general, so they don't mind extremely bitter or sour snacks. No particular opinion on preserved plum candies!

• They will eat anything if it looks good, but do prefer cooked, seasoned food.
• They house hop often to get access to good food and sleeping spots, but never stay too long - not as long as they've crashed at Enbi's place for [spoiler reasons] anyway. They chose this way of life for [spoiler reasons].
• Anoko is like the nosy household dog they have no choice over being roommates with. The smell coming from her mouth made them wary of her at first, but she never tried to eat them so they relaxed eventually.
• Their kind can choose how they present their human appearances, so they never really needed to get their ears pierced!

Sent to Hikaru!

• In reference to this post. Hikaru's natural hair color is a grey-ish brown! The current pink shade is dyed.
• Hikaru rarely goes out if not for work reasons, and mostly mops at home in baggy sweatpants and slippers - but if they got to go out to enjoy a day off in the sun, they'd wear comfy tank tops and sports shorts with neutral colors, which is what they usually wore pre-idolfication. They're not particularly fashionable and prefer practical clothing. Even that would be a rare occurance though because even their casual, off-stage clothing is styled by their agent.
• They were much brighter and cheerful indeed! And were actually a plain kid back in school - not particularly popular or eye-catching, and had a regular number of friends and acquaintances. They didn't date anyone back then either.
• I listed their age as "20+" cause my OCs' ages usually fluctuate a little depending on the setting, but I could say this phase of Hikaru is about 20-23 y/o. They're well aware they're getting close to retirement age and are terrified to think about it, as much as they feel exhausted in every way from playing this role. They were scouted as a teen and grew into a clueless, isolated young adult who allowed their celebrity persona take over their entire character, so they have no idea who they'll be if they let go of Hikarin the idol. This struggle and how they overcome is tbh the entire point of their character, so I'll explore it more in future art! The idol industry in their setting is more based on the jpn one and they're a solo artist. :)

• Socks with sandals is their go-to choice to wear indoors when it's cold enough. Best way to show off their fashionable socks!
• If asked directly, they'll say they like to keep the mystery, but the truth is they're near-sighted and need the prescription sunglasses to be able to see because they lost their regular glasses.
