Lilo & Stitch Live Action and WTF is wrong with Shrek?!

Today we're watching the "cast announcement" for the horrifying new Shrek movie and also the trailer for the live action Lilo & Stitch. I have my concerns (mostly for Shrek) but regardless, you best believe we will be watching both of these here on Patreon when they are out for rent.

people like to quote "money" as the reason for the live actions, but I don't think they're actually making much money off of those so I don't really know why. Maybe they save money on not needing writers? It's kinda ironic the doubt on live actions when we're prepping to watch TLOU live action. There is literally no point when it's basically a shot-for-shot remake. Just people wasting time and money. Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey got old.

2025-03-30 07:53:14 +0000 UTCi stand by shrek 2 being amazing, but I have zero interest or faith in any subsequent shreks tbh. i think i saw 3 in theaters with my cousins and hated it because the jokes felt cheap, it was just cringe. new stitch looks cute tho ngl.... no one asked but i'm maybe not mad?
