I am very excited for some things coming out next month though and I can't wait to watch those with you and discuss them.... and possibly rip them to pieces and shame the writers and directors into their graves :)

You should search for the old Hannibal at the Zoo twitter account. It is just his musings as he spends the day at the zoo. My favorite: "Your quarter doesn't buy you a handful of food for the billy goat. It buys the forgiveness of all the billy goats you are unable to feed."

2025-06-14 18:14:57 +0000 UTCGlad you watched and enjoyed Hannibal. It’s a show I love, but I can’t imagine binging it. I watched as it aired on NBC back in the day. Can’t believe they got away with some of those scenes on network TV. I’ve also read Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs and would recommend them. It’s interesting to compare what the show changed and how they sort of remixed some of the plot points. The other Hannibal books I haven’t read but also haven’t heard great things about them. The Silence of the Lambs film is a classic and also recommend. There’s also two Red Dragon film adaptations, Manhunter and Red Dragon. My preference is Manhunter, but to each his own.
