Another update to fix bugs. Some users of the package could not use the package properly, because it could not be loaded most of the time. Already in the last bugfix (1.8.2) I tried to fix these loading problems. Unfortunately I received feedback that this version did not fix this problem. Now I have looked more intensively into the issue and used the package (1.8.3), as well as the mod with Forge 1.18 on a total of 4 different devices. 2 Desktop and 2 Laptops. In the end, it turned out that the game with the package needs a lot of ram. That's why Minecraft can't load the package, because the allocated ram for the game is already full, especially when using Optifine with intensive shaders, it often came to problems.
So, what did I change this time?
As you can see in the picture above, there are 2 sides. The left side is the old Packet version. The right side is the version 1.8.3. Only some "screen" images and other large textures have been downscaled. So the package was reduced from the original 100MB to just the half size. This should have fixed the loading problem as much as possible. You should still allocate around or more than 6 GB of RAM to the Minecraft game. If you use a lot of mods, more RAM can also solve the problem with the package.
The message in the game that the package is not compatible with your version is not a problem. You can use the texturepacket as usual
And...
One user fixed the loading problem after using the "main" graphics card and not the possibly internal graphics unit of the CPU. You can read more in the original comment.
Thanks to Yanagikou, BitBaldy and 3x0tic_p4r4d0x for reporting the problem
Users who did not experience problems with loading or performance do not need the new version.
Thanks to all of you and a happy new year. π§‘
