Remember that you have the power to choose the way you respond to the situation, as well as where you put your attention and the narratives you engage in. Resilience, patience, and support for each other are all important – choose to work together, and be good to yourselves and look out for your friends and family.
Focus on taking the necessary practical steps to keep yourselves and your cities healthy. Regardless of what the governmental directives are in any given place, it takes commitment and teamwork in the wider community to make them happen. Keep a level head and be selective about where you invest your energy.
It has been a challenging few weeks for many of you with changes to work, school, healthcare, and transport. If you are still working or going to school, please be safe. If you are at home, invest some time in the things you enjoy, connect with friends and family, and be well. For those working in the front lines, thank you for your selflessness. You are all heroes.
Many have sent messages of concern my way, and I appreciate each of you. I have been keeping close contact with my immediate family, the majority of whom are in Mainland China. There is currently no known community transmission of the virus where I live.
I believe in you all. We will get through this.

Be safe Glace - I hope you and your loved ones are well. We're quite lucky here, our govt closed the borders when cases were in the double digits, and once it hit 100+ they announced a nationwide lockdown for at least a month. All schools and non-essential businesses closed, work from home directives, police all over the streets. Very concerned about you guys and my friends overseas. Please stay safe everyone x
