Behind the Scenes: Gestures & Movement in Script Direction
Added 2023-10-05 22:00:03 +0000 UTCHello friends( ^ω^)
This is an explanation of why character actions are sometimes written into the script.
+ a teeny sneak peek at a character coming up early next week. Our dark faun is featured in a speed date audio!
--------------------------------------
How it looks in practice, added before or in the middle of a line of dialogue:
[looking him up and down] Aren’t you precious eye candy?
...your likes, loves, [winking, twirling hair] secret and not-so-secret, tantalising desires?
You know, sugar, even a faun like me gets [rolling eyes] tired of the same old dance.

They have had so many different logos xD A few orange ones then orange and black and then the black P, and now I call this one the "balloon animal P"

Also tried to voice act that, one without body language and one with body language to my delivery of that line. Both eyebrows raised, eyes wide open, place hands on face as a gesture of shock, and lean forward a bit and wow, I can hear the difference.

2023-10-07 04:36:05 +0000 UTCHello as well Dark Faun! Oh wow, this is a really good tip. I was trying it out my self, and I noticed that the simple action of adding body movements to it shifted my voice from a rather monotone delivery to a more expressive (and seductive) delivery.
