Big Update!

Yesterday the last of the 2022 Q&A videos was posted, which means it’s time to switch things up, because it’s gonna be a while before I have any more of those to share with y’all, and the performance videos will run out at the end of the year. Starting next month, I’ll be much more active on here, due to the nature of the new perks I’ll be introducing. I’ve got some stuff planned that I think you’ll really enjoy.
To directly replace the Q&A videos, I will be doing monthly livestream Q&As exclusively here on Patreon. It will go to the same tiers. If I am unavailable to do the livestream that day, I will let you know the make-up date as soon as possible.
EDIT: Livestream Q&As will be the second Sunday of the month!
I will be posting a blog entry at least once a month, which will go out to all tiers. It will be comprised of rants, raves, random babbling, breakdowns of previous projects, and maybe some thoughts on books I’ve been reading. That will be going out to all tiers. It would theoretically, were there to be any, include early announcements/behind-the-scenes news, and thoughts on entirely hypothetical projects I am not confirmed to begin working on any time soon.
Let’s say, for the sake of argument, I went on tour, after two years without a show. All tiers would get tour diary entries as I went.
Also: I will not be resuming work on the zine. When you start publishing your first draft of your first ever attempt at long-form prose in a zine full of art you have to make one largely improvised chapter per month while trying to have a career outside it in your early 20s… well… I started it the better part of a decade ago, and I can’t bring myself to continue what I started.
Which is why the reimagined and re-worked novelization is underway! I will be periodically posting small excerpts from the latest draft here, to the tiers currently getting Rx stuff. Any thoughts on the process I want to share will either be shared on those posts or on the blog or both.
I am also considering publishing little bare-bones home studio covers to the top tier once a month, after the live videos run out at the end of the year and until there are hypothetically new ones. I’ll let you know if that ends up being what I go with come 2025.
So yeah, that’s the update. Starting next month, I’ll be more active here with a blog, a monthly livestream Q&A, and excerpts from the latest draft of the novelization of The Prescription. At the end of 2024 when the videos run out at the end of the year, I’ll introduce more new stuff. I'll be getting to work on updating the page/pinned post(s) with the new details soon.
Thanks as always for your support, for sticking with me, and for being so darn cool. I would, were the situation at hand, hypothetically be looking forward to theoretically getting back into things at some point. Purely rhetorically speaking.

P.P.S. I wouldn't say I'm "back from hiatus," no. I wouldn't say that until I was playing shows again.

At the very least a breakdown of answered questions would be nice but I understand that makes a little more work out of it. Very excited about everything here though, super super excited to see what comes next!

Maybe do live Q&A streams until you have a catalog of theoretical performances *wink wink* and switch to sharing those at some point. I know people post "unreleased" songs of mine on Youtube a lot, I think most of them are me workshopping unfinished material at shows (which used to be a big part of my writing process back in the day) and I'm glad people like it, but unfortunately, too many people leaked ICIMI demos so I'm not comfortable sharing demos or unfinished material here anymore. Patreon members will, however, always have the earliest and closest looks at any projects I take on!
