I totally get you. It sounds like the hyperbole of an old, drug-addled mind but is entirely believable. I’ve also watched many ‘legends’ over the years but genuinely believe WW to be the finest musical talent I’ve ever seen or heard. His obliquely referenced lyrics, consistently amazing melodies, phenomenal musicianship and on-stage charisma just leave everyone else standing. So many perfectly crafted songs and he’s still a relative unknown touring in a dodgy RV wtf? Deffo returning to the US for any Tapeworms gigs in 2025!

Will’s show at the minuscule theater in Stroudsburg, PA. was by far the best live performance I have ever seen, which is saying a lot, as I have seen the Dead, the Band, Leonard Cohen, the Who, the Stones, Led Zeppelin and a host of others. He was amazing. Really looking forward to his next project.

Plenty of times I have wished to have been somewhere or somewhen I am not, and watching this was one of those times. I don’t know if I believe that everything happens for a reason, but I know that so many good things can result from frustration and hardship or things you wish you hadn’t done.
