Lovely chapter, it was very creative to make a little story within the story. I note that the Barrel Belly Knight didn't get a second shot at Edmir under the table - I must therefore assume that he, and all the knights and squires ended up permanent additions to Edmir's entourage. Which is fitting, a god of brewing should have a personal army of beer balloons... But if there is any allegory of this tale Tonic's fate... maybe keeping his flock blimped with joy for years or ~permanently~ wouldn't be so sour... I wonder if power will corrupt, Tonic is so sweet and innocent, its hard to imagine him getting so addicted to worship but who knows~
