If one of them retreats to allow space for another to be coaxed out, but she(?) doesn’t come out, then what options do they have exactly? Who would even be able to help them, a priest?! If there were a [Psychologist] in the city who had experience with plurals, well, I would be bug-eyed with surprise and incredibly impressed at the forward-thinking advancement of accommodation in even a shred of their society, but they’d be a potentially important resource for Maev long-term depending on the advancement or harm of their mental health care techniques. Now I’m imagining a [Psychotherapist] getting the [EMDR] skill which puts the target’s frontal consciousness in an occupied state to bring down their emotional defenses and allow them to reprocess traumatic memories… what were we talking about again?
