With the system and skills and levels giving people more power, it only feels natural that the most capable piece (and coincidentally the one fitting to the more powerful gender role) would be the Empress, et cetera. Just a REALLY clever and interesting cross-cultural moment, all this! Gosh this story is so fun to read.

2025-11-21 21:23:28 +0000 UTCLmao. Anna trying to see what the most efficient move is and very quickly being shown the futility in trying to calculate that out so early into a chess match. Though, the longer the match goes on the more useful her skill would become, reasonably, as there are less potential outcomes to deal with. Perhaps with the power of Skills Anna could determine whether or not Chess is actually a solved game.
