Patreon Monthly Update: December 2015

Happy holidays, supporters! I didn't do much stuff that was outwardly facing last month, but rest assured, there are rumblings going on behind the scenes for things. Mostly just, uh, working and typical holiday rush stuff, but, that probably counts. Probably.

New videos did go up on the channel, though, including a promo for shirts in my RedBubble store. I used to get pretty bummed out about nobody buying anything from there, but after listening to other Youtube channels around my level of popularity complain about similar things, I guess my situation isn't so uncommon. It's made me a lot more thankful that there's ten people out there walking around with my shirt designs on.

Upcoming stuff:

I'll be publishing a Rodea the Sky Soldier review on TSSZ News soon. The comparison video I made a few weeks ago ended up being a surprise hit for my channel. That's a very interesting game, and it's a shame what happened to it. I really should've gotten my butt in gear to get the review out faster, but I play games at the rate I play games, which has always been a little slow, I guess.

Since its officially December, I should probably go ahead and record the last bits of Lets Narcissism: MarioWeen. I've been dragging my feet on this one a little because I want to dig out some work-in-progress builds of various remakes I've started for MarioWeen and never finished and have the final video be about that stuff... but that means hooking up old, slow HDDs and spending hours sifting through files for something that might not even exist. That's not fun.

Work on the Halloween Adventure Game prototype has continued, but very slowly. My problem is I get ideas to do things, start working on them, get distracted, and then a deadline will pop up months down the line where it's like, "I have to get this thing done before that thing releases, or there's no point anymore." That's happening now, so there's a (big!) video I should probably get moving on before it becomes obsolete.

But I have other responsibilities ahead of that one, like the Rodea review, and now my first $15 Patreon supporter! Thankfully, neither of those two things should take *that* long at this point. I just need to crank on it.

So... I'll do that. Thanks for all your support!

And... oh yeah! The new computer is happening very, very soon. Maybe there'll be a video for me putting it all together? Or maybe it'll all explode in my face. Stay tuned!
