2025-09-23 14:18:19 +0000 UTCI don't really agree that recasting an actor who passed away is in poor taste. I think ideally you weigh your options and either write them out or recast based on what makes the most sense in any given situation. Ultimately it is a job and just a role they are playing, not like digitally recreating a dead actor's likeness, which feels kind of morbid. I feel like a recast would have been better in this case because I think the character still had a lot of things going on. But either way it would have been jarring because I really liked the actor.
