2023-12-04 23:25:41 +0000 UTCLol I could feel the hype you guys were feeling even though I've watched this season several times (more than the others, I just really love it). I especially love you guys hyping up the players during their intros. It was such a nice touch from the animation team to make the high-fives distinct for each character -- like Tanaka being gentle with Shimizu but slapping the hell out of Ukai and Takada's hands or Ukai playfully bringing it up high for Hinata. Or the players' expressions when they're running to their places, that awkward but earnest kind of expression that young students have when they're at a big event where people are watching them. It's so cute and nostalgic. Haikyuu is really good at those small character moments and I think this season in particular has a lot of them (even for Shiratorizawa), even though they're in the middle of an intense match. Really makes the characters feel alive.

(Or Gekidan Haikyu!! for short). I absolutely LOVE the stage plays as much as the anime and manga.
