yeah, it's like the equivalent of an 18 year old in our current world, not being allowed to drink by older Darkness bceause they claim the age of drinking is 21 (like in USA at least). But then overcompensate and treat that 18 year old like a 12 year old child, asking them to sit on the kids table at a family dinner for example, because from their perspective they still visualize them as a teen, not as an adult, when they are in fact, an adult... and that would drive anyone of that age crazy to be belittled all the time..especailly when she's arguably the strongest one in the group with her 1-hit-ko potential at least.

The anime skipped it, but when Kazuma finds out about this during their bath, he starts being more conscious of Megumin as someone of the opposite sex. EDIT: Also, she's considered a legal adult in the country that Kazuma and the gang are currently in. So it's pretty insulting to her when Darkness (due to ignorance) and Kazuma (as an insult) treat her like a kid despite not being much older than her.

It is quite common for people to think that Yunyun's images show Yunyun alone, and to think the other girl in Megumin's images to be Yunyun. It is not, it is Megumin's little sister, the girl is thus much smaller than Yunyun, and even smaller than Megumin herself. I don't think the subs captured it, but the girl exclaims "Onee-chan, sugoi!" in at least one of them, Onee-chan meaning 'big sis'.

This show is hilarious if you just let yourself enjoy. Some people get too "karen-y" when watching this show because they dont understand the parody aspect of it, but you guys seem to be vibing with it! That's great to see! it's definitely an underrated gem because the absurdness/comedy is so strong that when a dramatic sad scene happens, it hits WAY harder...
