Catgirl Care Chibi Alpha 0.1 + January Devlog

Hey there, welcome to another devlog. This one also happens to be the release of Catgirl Care Chibi's first alpha! 

In the alpha, you will be asked to create a catgirl. From there, she will roam freely. Around the screen edge, you can access the menu with the following options:

• Camera tracking toggle - follow all catgirls, follow selected catgirls, or no tracking
• Activity log - currently just displays dialogue
• New Catgirl - make a new catgirl
• Edit Room - decorate the room

It's important to keep in mind that this build is an extremely early version of the game. Currently, the game is just a foundation I intend to build the eventual main gameplay loop (described here) on top of. That means there's not a lot to play around with yet and that everything can (and probably will) change. 

I want to work with you all throughout Catgirl Care Chibi and eventually Catgirl Care proper to make sure everything ends up cute and fun. This early build isn't much, but I'd appreciate it if you could leave your feedback in the comments (you can also message me privately).

Rockin' Resort

Catgirl Care (and Chibi) will likely take a long time to develop, so I'm planning to develop other projects alongside it. One of these projects is Rockin' Resort, which I'll be starting development on this upcoming month. The project has been going through a design doc rewrite, so I'll be sharing more information once I have more that I can show.

You all seem to really like Crystal, Julia, Amber, Eleanor, and Coral so I'm hoping you'll be able to enjoy some time with them sooner rather than later!

New Characters

Here's an early sneak peak at two characters I've been working on. These are early sketches to help me lock in the character concepts, so expect major changes in the final designs.

Their names are Sabrina Magnolia and Lobelia Lilin. Sabrina is a centuries old vampire while Lobelia is a recently summoned succubus (note: this is not Lust Potions lore). They will feed off one another and in time develop a romance. I'll have more to share on these two once their designs are done, so expect to see more of them soon!

Also, the bat's name is Peep!

Other Updates

I was going to start the process of adding my games to steam but there's been a small delay while I deal with some IRL issues (~$2700 water bill mainly). The Steam releases should help  smooth over the financial end of things, but I'm just making sure my bills get paid first before the platform fees.

I'm also planning to get my game soundtracks up on Youtube! Most of them are already up, but Lust Potions especially should fill up my channel quite a bit. I don't have an ETA for this yet so just know that it's on my mind. If you want to know as soon as the videos go up, subscribing should work.
