A heads-up for anybody who subscribed this month!
Added 2021-07-23 11:02:10 +0000 UTCI already said this in the most recent Patron early access chapter post, but I just want to make absolutely certain I've made people aware of this! This is only relevant if you have initially subscribed this month.
Tomorrow morning, by popular request, I am going to enable the 'Accept annual memberships' option for Patrons. (This is only an option, nobody has to do it.)
In order to do this, I have to click the 'Charge Patrons up front' option.
If you have initially subscribed this month, Patreon will charge you for this month (July) the moment I click that button. This will not affect any pledges going forward, or anything else. I wish Patreon was less weird about this, but I can't see a way around it, and I just want to let you all know, because I don't want anybody seeing unexpected charges, even if it's just a single dollar.
