Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed this! And thank you for complimenting my descriptive writing, too, I'm never quite happy with it myself. I'm delighted that Heather's new multi-core processing is coming across so strongly, I've thought a lot about how to do that in the prose and I've got a lot more techniques to explore with that! And yes! With Raine's question, that is exactly what she's doing.

The way you portray Heathers' multi-mindedness really makes me feel like I can imagine what she's going through. The delayed response to Raines' opening question makes me think of a parallel processing kinda thing, one of the Heathers mulling it over while the rest attend other business.
