Skulls - grinning, empty, or broken? Our zombies are about to meet them all, perhaps in more detail than they ever wanted. Arc 7! Here we go! Anything I can say here would be a spoiler, so, on with the show! I hope you enjoy this one, dear readers; it's the single longest Necroepilogos chapter so far, clocking in at over 5.7k words. I'm not sure I'll be matching that every week, but this chapter absolutely had to continue until a suitable stopping point, as you will see!

Ah, but I do have a little note about last week's chapter. For those who missed the postscript note , I actually did a tiny bit of post-publication editing, which I never usually do. A few readers were confused about a pivotal moment in the chapter, so I went back and added some serious clarification. If you do want to reread for the sake of seeing the changes, they are all confined to onward of the line "The mirror-Elpida met her eyes", nothing prior to that! If you don't want to re-read, then no worries, the edits don't actually change any continuity, you won't miss anything!
