(Hello! I am doing something sneaky and special this week! Special formatting tricks. So, just to break the effect very slightly, down here: this is technically chapter 23.8. You may notice it is very short compared to usual; that is because there is another chapter this week, which I will be posting about sixty seconds after this one! I'll add a link here to avoid any confusion! Hope you enjoy!)
P.S. Patreon did something weird (or I possibly clicked a wrong button when posting? I'm not actually sure what happened) and gated this post for the wrong set of Patrons, meaning there was about 10 minutes when Katlepsis Patrons couldn't see this, but Necroepilogos Patrons could. Hopefully that didn't confuse anybody, but I thought I better put a note here just to clarify.

Ah! Gosh! Another one. I'm so sorry about this. Patreon did something really weird here. Still, I guess it sort of works thematically, with this being a weird non-physical interlude that Heather can barely remember properly? I'm glad you got to read it eventually anyway, even if it was out of order!

I was trying to be all clever and mysterious and make this interlude seem unmoored from space and time, just like Heather, but I think I was trying to be too fancy for my own good.
