Surprise, this is the final chapter of the arc!!! Yes, it's true! It finally happened, and I literally could not be sure until I'd finished drafting this one. These zombie girls got all lined up long enough to bring this sequence to a conclusion, at long last, though it may not be the conclusion most expected. And of course, they are far from out of this particular jam. If anything they're wedged in even deeper. But this little movement, this beginning of an informal second volume, is now concluded. The end of the (very) beginning, followed by a descent into the raging storm.
Next week will be a new arc, for certain this time! I hope you've enjoyed this maze of twisty little passages as much as I have, dear readers! Onward we go, back into the depths of the benighted tomb.

Thank you so much! I had about 3-4 different possible endings lined up for this arc, and I did not expect this to happen in exactly this way, so I'm really glad it came out so well! And ohoho, you have a very good point there. Amina might not be happy that somebody else is partaking of Elpida's divine flesh and blood.
