24.24! My gosh, we're actually here, at the double number. I'm not sure why I'm so amused by this, but I am! And I do dearly hope you will be 'amused' by this chapter too, though perhaps amusement is not the most common response to facing down a beheaded nurse-hydra in the supernatural dark inside one's own worst nightmare. Oh well! I'm sure Heather's got a trick up her sleeve (or inside her blanket?)
Not much else to say this week! I have an absolutely incredible piece of fanart I want to share, but I can't do so until next chapter, when the public readers will be allowed to see it too. The arc is careening forward now, smashing through walls and shouting at the top of its lungs, still barely within my control. For now. I'll leave the rest to Heather! Onward we go! Hope you enjoy!

This chapter felt like riding a wave of tension; I wasn't sure if it would end on the monitoring desk, or if that would come in the next chapter, but I'm very happy with the result.
