We're back! Thank you so much for your patience, dear readers; I'm hoping this new schedule helps in all the ways I want it to (and it does seem to be doing so, so far!) This chapter is another long one! We'll be doing three weeks on, in a row, then one week break. As I mentioned in other posts, I'll be keeping the Table of Contents page updated regularly to show the upcoming schedule, if you're ever in doubt.
As for how arc 12 is shaping up, oh my, I think I was right to plan for 15 chapters; behind the scenes things are opening up, blossoming like a flower in undead guts. There's so much going on inside this tomb, with all these zombies sheltering from the storm - and not just with Elpida's cadre, either. We might get a couple of unexpected POV shifts, or maybe even a new POV, since there's so much happening out there in the echoing shadows. But right now, Shilu needs to answer some questions.

Iriko has other options (burrowing through the ground to go eat elsewhere?), but she probably doesn't want to do that.
